Innovation in Europe

Last week I attended a podiums discussion about "What is Europe`s role in shaping an AI future?" and learned something about the differences between EU and US CEOs and company leaders.

McKinsey analyzed the topics of executive earnings calls and figured out that US companies focus on: tech, value, and product while EU companies heavily focus on tax and financials.

The terrible part on this is: based on some (over) regulations it makes total sense to focus within the EU on tax and laws instead of tech, product, and value creation. I would love to see more companies within the EU to focus on the same things as US companies do.
